Why Modular?
ADR has undergone a fundamental change. The mod has been recoded to be MUCH more flexible.
The previous monolithic version has been seperated into three basic sections, the ADRCore, ADRItems and ADRWeaponsPack.
Much of the artwork and other media has been pulled out into a fourth module, the ADRMedia file.
One big advantage of this system is that it will allow fast and easy updates to the indivudual modules.
When updates to program features are made, the players will not have to download the entire package, just
the ones that are updated.
More importantly, this will allow for plug in weapon packs!
This allows you to keep the core functionality of ADR, and use different pre-assembled weapon packages depending on your
needs.
The initial weapon pack release will actually be a combination of some ADR weapons, and some older weapons.
We are planning to release a two versions of the weapon pack to support the UMX league, and a version to
support deathmatches.
