Kyrial is a half-elf who lost her memory, and was found floating at sea by the fishermen of Sitleft. The fisher folk are quite fearful of the powers that live in the sea, and so took her into their community, so as not to offend any deities.
Kyrial is actually a follower of Ehlonna, the titan of forests, woodlands, flora & fauna and fertility.
After a time, she came to be accepted in Sitleft, viewed as something of a harmless eccentric.
She married the innkeeper, and moved in with him. He is tolerant of her alternative views, and allowed her to set up a small shrine in a hidden, unused room.
Ehlonna has instructed Kyrial to keep a low profile, and to keep a watchful eye on the fishermen of the village. Kryial has been sending regular reports to Ehlonna of what she has learned, but was not able to make any further progress.
She prayed for assistance, and received a vision. She went to particular set of standing stones
There at midnight on a full moon, she performed a ritual with a peculiar four armed statue,
and awoke four of the standing stones...
