Installing UT99

First, install UT from the CD. Do not select High Resolution graphics.

Next, install the 436 patch:

Next, download and install the 4 bonus packs:

• UT Bonus Pack 1
• UT Bonus Pack 2 Digital Extremes pack
• UT Bonus Pack 3 (.umod) Inoxx Map pack
• UT Bonus Pack 3 (non .umod) Inoxx Map pack
• UT Bonus Pack 4 (.umod)
• UT Bonus Pack 4 (non .umod)

Next you need Excessive Overkill:

• Mr. Pants' Excessive Overkill for UT v1.0 By Jason 'Cicero' Taylor
• Excessive Overkill 1.4pa umextreme community version

And the 451 patch currently not recommended :

• UTPG Patch v451 [Windows]

Grab some common maps:

• Common Maps

And skins:

• UT Skin Pack 1

Go into UT and use the Excessive browser (under your Mod menu) to locate all of the Excessive CTF and DM servers, add them to your favorites, and come join the fun.
