A 10 foot by 10 foot cube, showing three buttons, each made up of a different number
of triangles:
The last triangle opens up a pit under anyone in the pit room, DC25 reflex
check to get out of the way. Falling 100' onto spikes, 10d6 falling damange, plus
d4+1 spikes, each doing d4 damage. Possibly poisoned if the party is still doing
well.
The middle triangle allows the elevator to descend the shaft to the bottom, where
a secret door must be located. The secret door leads to a temple area, if the players
can overcome both a CE forbiddance, and an Unhallowed. Forbiddance forces a will save
if it works, the user is uneasy. If the save fails, depending on alignment, damage
is dealt: Chaotic Evil: No effect, but "Invisibility Purge" is still applied to anyone who is
not a follower of Llolth (SR may apply). Chaotic or Evil axis: 3d6 damage, and that player is hedged out. Any other alignment: 6d6 damage, and that player is hedged out.
The Unhallow works as a circle of protection against good, and undead are turned at
-4 their usual turning rank.
The first triangle will cause a huge slab of stone to drop into the shaft, DC30 to
dodge. Anyone caught by the slab will take 20d8 damage, anything over 50 causes a
save verses death (size dependant).
